Yes You Can... Cash In On Chaos!

Chaos Clinic Recap

Here are Al's comments

12:50 I'm going to call it quits; the rest of the day is an exercise for the student :)
Thanks for coming; see you next week; take some courses

12:46 the momentum fell off in the last hour ; made me nervous

12:43 don't like stall-covering for +5.5

12:37 stop to 2006-lock 4

12:20 stop to 2005-lock 3

12:15 stop to 2004-lock 2

11:50 stop to 2003-lock 1

11:40 now need to just wait-the prices are staying above the 110 minute EXMA on the MTRainbow chart

11:28 today is a "running" day because the rainbow of EXMA's are all flowing upwards-see the MTRainbow chart

11:23 stop to 2002-breakeven

11:18 stop to 2001

11:14 stop to 2000

11:09 this is now a "running" day - can hold to close and trail stop on the 110 EXMA-cancelling my sell at 2011

11:03 stop to 1999

10:45 may run up to the R1 price of 2011-putting sell limit there

10:38 I got stopped on my short, so flipped to long at 2002 stop 1998

10:28 stop is in; taking a break now

10:22 rally has clearly stalled - need to be patient

10:10 sold 1997 stop 2002 for now ; did not make a clean break above yesterday's high

10:06 aborted for -1.25 ; not moving

10:00 broke yesterday's high

9:56 rebought 2000 stop 1997

9:53 I may have flinched, but this move is very extended

9:50 aborted for +.5 - not moving well

9:46 stop to 1997

9:43 putting sell limit at 2003.5; 5 points

9:35 bought 1998.5 stop 1995

9:32 watching

9:26 higher minor low , last high 1999

9:13 the momentum is up, so I'm looking for a buy setup; the 8:47 Tide time was a low, favoring the 10:00 to be a high
so maybe we get an opening pop; have to be ready to take a quick gain

9:09 today's prices are up 40 points from yesterday's low-extreme volatility; makes it hard for day traders
trade times are 10:10, 12:58, and 14:24

9:00 Good Morning. Welcome to the Chaos Clinic. This site has a lot of charts,
so you may find it useful to have several of them available within your
browser. If you have a tabbed browser, you can open separate charts
in separate tabs by right clicking on any link, and selecting "open in new tab"
from the menu. The main list of site pages is at
http://daytradingforecasts.com/chartlistsec.asp
Recommended pages to watch are SPKISS, MTRainbow, and Chat.
For astro stuff, add SPSunMoonMer, Wheel, and Chaos Clinic.
Chaos clinic comments appear at the bottom of the SPKISS, MTRainbow,
and ChaosClinic pages. Comments in the chat room are announced by a
"duck call" noise. This noise also occurs when the sofware detects a
resonant hex pattern on the Wheel page. Trading tutorials
are on the right side of the ListOfCharts page. One should
read Trading the MoonTide Tutorial and Keep it Simple as a minimum.

The next Essentials of Personal and Market Astrophysics will be taught March 21-23. If you want to come, send Al An Email.

Besides the comments made by Al, the chat room is has live
comments from other traders who sometimes share their views,
trades and tips. Below are the chat room comments from this clinic

3/11/2016 10:29:15 AM MT brb****:: Hey Al, its actually BBB, and I need to re-register a new money tide reader - can you do this for me today? I had it registered on an old computer at my previous work -- this is my laptop and would like to have it on here.
3/11/2016 10:17:22 AM MT Al****:: BRB-if you've taken the 4 CTME courses you can access the CTME course to get the Ninja Trade indicator
3/11/2016 10:11:45 AM MT TG****:: If new highs are too week these can of course rollover.
3/11/2016 10:10:03 AM MT srj****:: Thanks TG.
3/11/2016 10:08:46 AM MT TG****:: price got close to the 110 and made a new high then sort of trended above the OOB level. Next best trade opportunity on these sorts of "grinding higher" type days is to enter on a touch of the 55 exma.
3/11/2016 10:01:03 AM MT TG****:: srj, here's how sometimes you can spot a running type day early. If you see a large gap that is outside of the prior days outcry range (and preferably beyond a few days range) price might come test to the 110 exma early and entering from that area might be the best opportunity for an entry all day. Today it never even touched the 110 though.
3/11/2016 9:55:42 AM MT TG****:: BBB how's it going. I saw your first post and said to myself, " who the heck is brb".
3/11/2016 9:46:38 AM MT MRL:: thanks
3/11/2016 9:35:38 AM MT srj****:: Thanks Al.
3/11/2016 9:22:56 AM MT srj****:: @AL - how do you decipher that today is a running day. TIA
3/11/2016 9:09:45 AM MT srj****:: Al the email yesterday, as bbb said hurts at one level, but is good to see that there are things one can do to improve one's energy function. In my case I feel for the others mentioned but at the same time also it is heartening that I am not alone in that situation though may be not to the degree as some in the email. I have also been a member since around 2010 and slower than others but some parts of it are begining to sink in - all my charts have the EMAs, one is always a 3 min chart. min and I frequently use the FOPs and Fractal grids to figure out where the market might be going - sometimes two FOP sizes to figure out the moves within larger moves. Having said that my effort for the last two and a half months has been to make a head band and to get direction marked by you but(as has been the story of my life) in between a couple of distractions have struck and am just getting back to it. Astrophysics rules the ES and Astrology (natal) rules us :-)
3/11/2016 9:05:12 AM MT Al****:: MRL-are you watching the SPKiss of Chaos Clinic page-that's where the clinic comments are
3/11/2016 8:45:30 AM MT MRL:: Any trade today?
3/11/2016 8:20:21 AM MT srj****:: gm Al, all. brb after coffee :-)
3/11/2016 8:19:43 AM MT brb****:: Al, in the email last night you mentioned that for those who have taken the CTME course there is something available in NinjaTrader for the advanced techniques - can you explain?
3/11/2016 7:53:30 AM MT brb****:: Whoops -its bbb not brb. need coffee
3/11/2016 7:50:52 AM MT brb****:: Gm all. Al, great little email last night. Hurts to read some of those that have written you. I have been a member since (I think) 2010 or so and done all the courses. I still make mistakes of course, but I would say it took a good 4 years of watching the markets and backtesting, studying, and trying again to get a good handle on it. Being able to do this right out of the gate is a recipe for financial disaster. But this community is great and, as TG can attest, open to helping. Al's knowledge and insight is invaluable and I have a friend who was a member back when I started. He is a very successful trader and has remarked to me as recently as this past week that the things he learned here he still uses, the EMAs and the 3 minute chart specifically, and that it has helped him out tremendously. Stick with it and study and treat it like a degree and it will pay off. As the Joker famously said, "You can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs".
3/11/2016 7:18:24 AM MT Al****:: TG: interesting
3/11/2016 7:15:30 AM MT MRL:: gm
3/11/2016 6:36:32 AM MT TG****:: Al, did you read last night's Snapple tidbit about the 10th president, John Tyler, born in 1790. It mentioned him having 15 children, his last one born to his 2nd and much younger wife when he was 70. The tidbit didn't mention that his 13th child also remarried late in life and fathered two children who are elderly and living today (at least they were as of 2015). So a president born in 1790 has two grandchildren alive in the 21st century. https://southcarolina1670.wordpress.com/2015/01/07/grandsons-of-john-tyler-us-president-born-in-1790-still-alive/
3/11/2016 6:28:20 AM MT TG****:: Good morning everyone.
