The S&P Tests The 2018 Fireball Top
Chaos Clinic for 4 26 2019

This week the S&P rallied sharply on Tuesday to test its 2018 top.
Since the peak on Tuesday, the S&P has struggled to go higher.
I believe it will go higher, as early as next week.

This chart show why I believe that. It shows the dramatic 2018 fourth
quarter decline. It basically ran from the fall equinox to the winter
solstice. That led me to think it might turn down on the spring equinox
in March. It did slow a bit, but April began with a gap up, and prices
have continued upward.

I like to track markets with a rainbow of exponential moving averages.
This chart has a 12 day (yellow), a 24 day (cyan), and a 36 day (white).
As popularized by Gerald Appel in the MACD indicator, these averages
converge near turns, then diverge.

Near the 2018 top, these 3 averages were tightly converged. As the market
started down, they diverged. On each rally, they converged a bit, then
diverged. At the Santa Spike Bottom, they reached maximum divergence.

On January 4, 2019, the 12 day turned up, being penetrated vertically by price.
By early February, the EXMAs had all turned up, establing an uptrend.
As the 2018 top is being tested, all three averages are spread evenly, and up.
They are not showing a downturn. Higher prices lie ahead.

As this top was approached, I noticed congestion near 2916. I recognized it as
the square of 54. Squares of numbers show up in energy fields because the power
in an electrical circuit is the square of the current. I have drawn horizontal
lines for numbers 48 through 55. Note how in the decline, prices vibrated between
53 squared (2809) and 51 squared (2601). The 12 day EXMA turned up at 50 squared(2500).
It crossed the 36 day EXMA at 51 squared (2601). The rally stalled at 53 squared,
pulled back to the 36 day EXMA, got above 53 squared, found support on the 24 day EXMA,
and rallied up to 54 squared. It now looks poised to run up to the next level
at 55 squared (3025).

This analysis means that the large down Chaos Clamshell scenario is no longer viable.
That does not mean it will not come, just not now.

4/26/2019 11:10:31 AM MT Al****:: I have not found retrograde/direct of outer planets very useful. It is a geocentric line of sight thing. Energetically, planet's electric fields work through the Sun, and their effects show up much better using a heliocentric ephemeris. As the energy flows from Sun to Earth, the Moon, Mercury, and Venus affect the "focusing" of energy, so their geo movements do show up.

If it rallies back to the recent highs, this could set up for a big down move in May. And a decline into Saturn Retrograde could be a low, leading to a big rally.
