Chaos Clinic 9/21/2018 New S&P Highs After test of January Highs
This chart ( on the AUX page ) shows the December S&P eMini Futures contact as it tested the January high and
rebounded to new all time highs.
Last Friday the market topped out. Monday it was down. After the end of session, it dropped
more, in after hours trading (point A). One may have concluded that lower prices were ahead.
By the normal session opening the next morning (point B) the market had rallied. Then during the
normal session, it ralled more (point C). This rally was more than I expected, so I was confused.
The next day, Wednesday, the market started down before the normal session open (point D). It
dropped below the rainbow of exponential moving averages. I sold. But as the normal session volume came
in, prices rallied sharply, stopping out my short. Just based on price action, I reversed to long.
Now I was no longer confused. I identified a major astro cycle, Mercury/Moon, at the 240 degree trine,
as a major energy source. I also examined the low at point A, and found that the Moon T+090 electric
field flux line had reversed the drop. As Wednesday progressed, prices held up but did not drop.
I identified the pattern as a 1, 2, 3 moves of an up Chaos Clamshell. Suspecting prices were in move
four, I held overnight with a stop below Wednesday's lows. I liked that the rainbow of EXMAs was up.
And I knew that most Chaos Clamshells have a strong move 5.
I examined move 1. It was 34 points. Adding that to the Move 2 low, a simple A=C zigzag estimate
said the prices could reach 2939.75. Then I took the rally off of point 2, 13 points, and tripled it.
Adding that to point 2 me a price target of 2944.75.
By the time I got up on Thursday the up move had already begun ( point F). When I checke the low of
move 4, I found that the Moon T+090 flux line had been support. From there it became a matter of
deciding on my cover point. I finally decide to use the numeric harmonics. 2880 was 8 circles. Nine
circles up would be 3240; eventually, but not today. Knowing that the S&P has a strong 6th harmonic,
I decided to cover at 2880+60=2940. Sixty is 1/6th of the circle. I put in my sell limit and waited.
It was hit just before the close. Happy day. I managed to Cash In On Chaos. With Friday being
options triple witching day, I decided to stay out of the market today. I have posted a video with more.
