Science is stranger than fiction. This is nowhere more evident than in the case of the Moon's distant cousin, Chiron. Some call Chiron a minor planet. At first it was thought to be a comet, then an astroid. Whatever it is, it has a very significant effect on events on earth - incredible but true. It even shows up in the daily prices of the S&P 500, as I will shortly prove.
Chiron was first discovered by Charles Kowal on November 1, 1977 ,on a photographic plate taken on October 18. So it is appropriate that we celebrate it's discovery.
I got seriously interested in Chiron after reading the latest book by the Magi Society,
Magi Astrology, the Key to Success in Love and Money
Using a huge database and modern analysis techniques, members of the Magi Society discovered that Chiron is the key to relationships, and to money. After checking out their work, I did a little research, programming, and observation.
Here is a photo of Chiron, taken at the Siding Springs Observatory in Australia on 25 April 1995 by Michael Brown, Rachel Webster, and Thomas Irving.
A gas and dust coma which varies with time in both size and brightness has been observed about Chiron's nucleus. The diameter of the coma has been measured to reach almost 2 million km in diameter on occasion, and the brightness(energy!!) can fluctuate by a factor of four over a period of a few hours.
In addition, a gravitationally bound "dust atmosphere" appears to be suspended in the inner 1,200 km of the coma, and this dust displays evidence of structure, indicating the possibility of particle plumes emanating from the nucleus.
So that little body has a huge energy field, and travels in a very non-linear and chaotic orbit. Sounds like a good contributor to the chaos in markets.
So does it really have an effect? To find out, I added Chiron to my Chaos Trader RealTime program, so I could watch the Chiron electric field flux lines and the times when the Exchange passes Chiron.
Here is what I saw today.
The major event coming up is the earth passing between the Sun and Jupiter on the 24th. That set the time point at C and the price point at D. D is 90 degrees from the energy center of the event, which is at 1302, at E. Upcoming events act as chaotic strange attractors.
Prices vibrated all morning about the -M090 Moon electric field flus line, marked at F. Finally, as the Exchange passed Saturn (the light blue veritcal line with the S beside it), they dropped sharply. Then at G they bottomed - right where the Chiron electric field flux line J was and as the Exchange passed Mercury at H. From there they make a "resonant streak" along the Chiron flux line L.
Finally, after making a small high at M, on the +M000 FULL MOON electric field flux line, they made a small bottom at N, again on a Chiron electric field flux line N.
That intersection at G was definitely a change in trend. On our One-A-Day we caught 7.5 points of the rally, trading blindly. But sitting in front of the screen, watching support form at the Chiron flux line J, it was pretty easy to anticipate the streak up the Chiron line L.
So Chiron really does have an effect. Today it was very pronounced, and profitable. Chaos theory says that when large forces are balance, that small forces can tip the balance, leading to a chaotic avalanche.
So who would have thought that such behaviors could be traced to this most distant cousin of the Moon? I told you science was stranger than fiction.
