13. A free program for checking your Windows computer for spyware.
This is not a complete spyware protection program. What it does is make a list of the approved .exe, .dll, and .com
files on your machine. Then it can be run to check to see if any new ones show up. It does not depend on knowing
anything about who has created what new spyware program. So it is a good security audit tool.
This is a self extracting zip file. Click on the link, open it, click on unzip, and it unzips files into a c:\findexe directory. Then close the
download box. Once the
files are on your computer, look in the directory with Windoews Explorer and read (double click on it to open) the readme.txt file for instructions. This is freeware. I do not warrantee or support it.
